I am absolutely upset. My Samsung Note 9 stopped working. When the technician opened it, it was completely messy inside with glue all over the place and not even set. I bought this phone in the UK in 2019 for £459.99. I have been extremely careful with how I use it. This is definitely a refurbished phone and not new at all. I am disgusted. Elizabeth

I’m still waiting for a refund of £379.99 since January. The company lied that they have processed the refund. They are ignoring my communication.

My bank and the U.K. British police are involved due to the company committing fraud and lying that they are based in U.K. when actually they are based in Hong Kong. This company is a thief. DO NOT purchase from here!!

Horrible company. Ordered a Motorola Hyper One in November 2020 with a 2 year warranty. When I went to check the warranty now on the Motorola website (May 2021), it says it has expired... I spoke to Motorola support and they said it was registered in Taiwan and may have been illegally imported, which could lead to the warranty being cancelled. Their website has now been closed due to COVID-19, but they said to contact them via email. I emailed them, but received no response... Now I have a phone which I cannot even pay to have repaired in Europe (I asked several companies who said they could not repair it as it is registered in Taiwan and uses Taiwanese parts which cannot be sold here) and I cannot contact the seller at all. Complete robbery!!

This place as well as eglobal uk sister to this place have now closed claiming its to do with covid-19 which is a lie they are still operating in EU I expect the truth is its to do with brexit.

If people have written reviews regarding buying products after feb 2021 they are fake.

This company states it is still offering support for past orders yet I was on be halve of a friend trying to get her phone repaired/replaced but they never respond this is just like eglobal who have done the same for myself regarding an order

I bought Dyson straighteners from Toby’s deals and they arrived broken after two weeks. The prongs were bent on the airplane security switch. I sent photographic evidence and have 30 days of battles and still no refund. I have been told faulty products are not covered by their warranty and they are trying to make a fraudulent claim against the courier company. They were so well packaged that the damages could not have been done in transit. I am £316 out of pocket and Toby's Deals have been useless. They reply daily to my complaints and thank me for my ongoing patience but still no offer of a refund. 30 days of owning broken straighteners and I am patiently waiting for them to try and scam their courier company.

When I tried to register the said straighteners with Dyson I was told the serial number was not recognised as a genuine Dyson product and to contact my supplier immediately. Toby's deals won’t hear this and insist they are a genuine product.

I strongly advise you not to buy from this company. I may have been extremely unlucky but £316 is a mistake I can’t afford to make.

I spent the best part of £3500 with Toby deals on a Sony a7siii camera and sigma lens. I’d bought camera gear from them before and it arrived fine and this time it would save me around £1,000 off the list price. Three days after I ordered the website said they were out of business in the UK. I’d bought on credit card so thought had some protection but I was still bricking it - I couldn’t afford to lose £3.5k. Had three weeks of kicking myself for being so stupid. But... to be fair to the firm they were always responsive and said it had been despatched. Didn’t believe them obviously but then out of nowhere today it all arrived perfectly and properly packaged. Was it worth the stress? Maybe not but I can’t complain with the product or the service. Shame they have stopped shipping though think their EU site still exists.

I ordered a camera from Toby deals, it looked a good price and thought it was a U.K. company. This was back in January. Then it didn’t turn up. Looked on here and was shocked to see the reviews and worried about not getting the camera or worse it being a counterfeit product, emailed them several times asking to cancel the order as it hadn’t even been sent. The order came, and after reading the reviews and now knowing they were based in Hong Kong I was very worried. If I needed to use the warranty I would have to send it to Hong Kong. I decided to return the item without even opening it.

I sent it back in the packaging it came in at great cost to myself. I also had proof of this as I took numerous photos. Just a FYI if you are posting something with a battery it can’t be sent in the post office to Hong Kong- you will have to pay more for a courier like DHL to do so. They had the item back, it went through an inspection process and they decided they would give me my money back (minus a return fee). They told me I would get a refund in 5-7 days.

Those days rolled by, no money. Contacted them and they told me they had already sent the refund. Checked with PayPal and they confirmed no pending payment and also that they wouldn’t cover me or help as apparently changing your mind isn’t a valid reason. So I started to worry more at this point. Especially as I looked and they have closed the website. Contacted again and they ignored several messages before advising they would look into in.

I have finally got a refund. In March. After it took them 3 weeks to send a product I managed to send back to them in 5 days. Communication is very poor, and it was an incredibly stressful experience. If you are waiting for a refund please keep chasing as I note they are trading still as Toby deals EU. Never ever will I take what looks like a great deal at face value- if it looks too good to be true it usually is. Lesson learned.

I purchased a Samsung A51. They notified me that it would take a bit longer than usual. But it only took a week longer. I asked for a 128GB, they gave me a 256GB instead. Can't complain after that!

I ordered a Nintendo Switch for my Grandson's birthday and after reading the negative reviews I was naturally worried. But... I must say my worries were unfounded. I received confirmation of my order immediately and the tracking information was second to none. I knew exactly where the item was at every step of it's journey and I received it in an acceptable time frame. The price I paid for the Switch was £25 cheaper than I could get anywhere else and the service I received was superb! From my experience I would totally recommend TobyDeals UK.

Bought a phone from Tobydeals in HK, at a sustantially lower price than was avaiable in the UK. I was kept fully informed of the picking, packing and dispatch process.
Item arrived within c.9 days. No complaints.
Tobydeals appears to have an associate company called Tecobuy (identical prices, website, etc.) who are still trading. Bought a phone from them last year. Package was traced and arrived at LHR promptly but vanished en route to Royal Mail's RDC (Regional Distribution Centre) at Park Royal. The trace is still there from last September. Got a full refund a few weeks later, so, again, no complaints

Just visited Toby Deals UK website, sad to see that they have closed down. I have so far bought 4 top of the line Samsung mobile phones from them - they took a while to deliver but the product was always as described. We are still using 2 of the mobiles well into their third year. They offered market-beating discounts, so will miss them

After I ordered from Toby Deals UK I had a bit of back and forward for a month looking for an update. I got 2 "dispatched" emails about a week apart but never got a tracking number. When I saw Toby Deals had stopped trading in the UK I assumed my order would never turn up. However still with no tracking details my order turned up on Saturday morning. Fingers crossed all outstanding orders are fulfilled.

After placing order, communication was very good and email asking for update was answered promptly. Tracking number given but not able to trace it. Another email about this was answered promptly again.
Two weeks later very pleasantly surprised to receive the camera by courier. Made good saving by using Toby deals. There seem to be some unfortunate cases of goods not being received but I found them to be very good and arriving from Hong Kong in two weeks amidst the Covid pandemic is no mean feat.
Camera was very well packaged, in original box, unopened and all contents as specified. You can't ask for more than this.
Heard two days ago they have closed UK operations due to Covid problems. Very unfortunate. Hope they will restart operations afterCovid recovery and in the meantime honour any warranty claims.
